wHAT TO EXPECT

Attend this webinar to learn more about Percutaneous leaflet repair for mitral and tricuspid regurgitation, otherwise known as Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER). This is now widely available in the UK for treatment of patients with symptomatic mitral regurgitation who are higher risk for mitral valve surgery, with a more limited number of centres offering simian treatment for patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation.

Join this webinar if you want a contemporary overview of the field of percutaneous mitral and tricuspid repair, or need guidance on clinical and imaging selection of patients who are suitable for treatment. The webinar is aimed at all clinicians involved in the management of patients with mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. The webinar will be led by Dr Jonathan Byrne and will use a case-based approach to discuss how and where patients should be referred.

Interventional cardiology in Leeds is flourishing with a committed group of doctors providing outstanding innovation, research and care. The common theme shared by all our consultants is teaching.

The meeting will consist of case-based lectures and discussions concentrating on mainstream coronary and structural intervention.

This is a recognised BCIS Course for Advanced Trainees, and as such is considered by BCIS a core component of sub-specialty training in intervention.
