BCIS President 2020

Previous | Next

Summary

Dear BCIS Members,

I have great pleasure in announcing that Professor Nick Curzen was successful in the recently completed election for BCIS President.

Professor Curzen will take over from Professor Adrian Banning at the conclusion of ACI 2020, with a lead-in period of approximately 6 months commencing at the BCIS Council meetings on June 26th 2019.

The election was notable for a record turn-out, with over 500 votes cast, which represents a 100% increase on the most recent previous election for President, and is undoubtedly a reflection of the quality of the field as well as the engagement of the BCIS membership. I would like to thank all of you who voted.

I am sure you will join me in congratulating Professor Curzen on his success.
