We would like to invite nominations from enthusiastic and committed BCIS members keen to have a role in the continued development of our Society. This is your opportunity so please do consider applying.
The position is for a 3-year term, and will commence in June 2020 when the current incumbent, Dr Phillip Freeman, steps down. There will be a 6-month lead-in period as Communications Lead-elect working alongside Dr Freeman starting immediately after the successful candidate is appointed.
Any current or previous BCIS Council member or other suitably qualified person can apply. The voting electorate will be all current and past Council members. Application is by self-nomination. A supporting statement must accompany self-nomination in order for the application to be valid. The closing date is 6 December 2019 at 5pm.
Ordinary Council Member (Two posts)
These positions are for a 3-year term, and will commence in January 2020 after the ACI conference when Dr Clare Appleby steps down in order to take on the role of Honorary Secretary, and Dr Tim Wells steps down having completed his term. There is no lead-in period for Ordinary Council Member.
Any current BCIS Ordinary member can apply. The voting electorate is all current Ordinary members. Application is by self-nomination. A supporting statement must accompany self-nomination in order for the application to be valid. The closing date is 6 December 2019 at 5pm.
