BCIS Council Elections 2019 – Appointment of new Communications Lead

Previous |

Summary

Dear BCIS Member,

It gives us great pleasure to announce Dr Sukhjinder Nijjer as the new BCIS Communications Lead. Dr Nijjer will take over from the current incumbent, Dr Phillip Freeman, in June 2020, but will start immediately working for a 6-month transition period alongside Dr Freeman.

Dr Nijjer is appointed having been the sole applicant in the recent Call for Nominations. Dr Nijjer submitted an extremely high-quality personal statement, illustrating both huge enthusiasm and an impressive degree of experience in Communications and IT. There is no doubt that he will be an outstanding appointment to this vital role for the Society.

With kind regards,

Dan Blackman
