Summary

Dear BCIS Members,

I am delighted to announce that Dr Clare Appleby was successful in the recent election for BCIS Honorary Secretary, and Prof Colin Berry was successful in the recent election for Research & Development Group Lead. Both Clare and Colin will officially take over from the current postholders (Dan Blackman and Nick Curzen respectively) in January 2020 following ACI.

There was an outstanding field of candidates for these two posts, and on behalf of Council, I would like to congratulate Clare and Colin on their successful appointments, and thank all the applicants for their interest in BCIS, and all those current and ex council members who voted.

Best wishes,
Dan Blackman
