Communications Lead
The position is for a 3-year term, and will commence in June 2023 when the current incumbent, Dr Sukhjinder Nijjer, steps down. There will be a 1-month lead-in period as Communications Lead-elect working alongside Dr Nijjer starting immediately after the successful candidate is appointed.
Any current or previous BCIS Council member or other suitably qualified BCIS member can apply. The voting electorate will be all Ordinary Members of the Society, including the Council Members and the retiring post holder. Application is by self-nomination. A supporting statement must accompany self-nomination for the application to be valid. The closing date is Friday 7th April at 5 PM.
Eligibility / Person Specification
Communicative skills and the desire to enhance the quality of information available to the membership as well as the cardiology community are essential prerequisites for the position of communications lead. This diverse range of activities and responsibilities require the skills of a committed individual with good organisational abilities.
