Call for Nominations for the Election of Two Ordinary Members to BCIS Council

Dear BCIS Members,

 

Call for Nominations for the Election of Ordinary Members to BCIS Council – 2 posts

We would welcome self-nominations for 2 posts on BCIS Council. We are looking to attract enthusiastic and committed BCIS members keen to have a role in the continued development of our Society.

Ordinary Member positions are for a 3-year term. The first will commence immediately and replaces Dr Dave Smith who stepped down this month having completed his term. The advert for his replacement was initially circulated in March but was then suspended in light of the developing COVID situation. The second post will commence in January 2021 when Dr Dan McKenzie completes his term. Applicants will be applying for both posts, and terms will be allocated by the Officers.

Any current BCIS member can apply. The voting electorate is all current BCIS members. Please find the Job Description for these roles in the downloadable PDF.

Application is by self-nomination. A supporting statement of fewer than 500 words must accompany self-nomination in order for the application to be valid. The closing date is Monday 20th July at 5pm. Applications should be submitted either via the button at the bottom of the page or via email. To apply via email, click here and attach your supporting statement.
