BCIS INTERVENTIONAL FELLOWSHIPS
Flinders Medical Centre Adelaide, Australia
Auckland City Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand
Commencement date: January 2023
Open for Applications, Deadline 5 November 2021
These posts offer well established, high-quality, high-volume interventional training in a prominent international cardiac centre. The posts are funded for 12 months and have a work programme primarily focused on catheter laboratory activity. There are opportunities for participating in interventional research and both advanced coronary intervention and structural heart disease programmes. As well as offering advanced interventional training, they provide an excellent opportunity to live and work in another country, and experience a different healthcare system.
These posts are highly competitive and are most suitable for individuals who already have a strong background of interventional training and academic research.
Access to the fellowships is limited to UK trainees in their final 2 years of Specialist Registrar training who intend to specialise in Interventional Cardiology and are BCIS members. The supervising consultants act on behalf of the BCIS Training and Education Group.
