BCIS ACI 2023 – Young Investigator Award

7th October 2022

Call for abstracts is open!

CALL FOR submissions – young investigator award

Dear BCIS Member,

I am pleased to invite you to submit one or more abstracts to showcase your research in competition for the BCIS Young Investigator Award 2023.

This award is open to BCIS members. Clinicians should be in training or in either a locum or fellowship post in advance of taking up a substantive consultant appointment. The applicant would normally be presenting original data from a project for which they have played a leading role, but will freely acknowledge the contribution of their supervisor and the rest of the research team.

Applications will be graded and the top four will be invited to present their abstract to a panel of judges. The winner will then be invited to present their abstract at a main session at ACI 2023,  and will receive their certificate and prize from the President at the conference dinner on Thursday, 19 January 2023.

All submissions should be submitted via the form below by the closing date of 5pm on the 4th November.

I am happy to answer all queries about the award via

Good luck!
