BCIS Coronary Intervention Core/Advanced Fellows Course

Course Summary

The BCIS interventional cardiology fellows and specialty registrars course for beginners and advanced trainees will be held in the picturesque city of Cambridge.

The course will cover all core and advanced practical aspects of coronary intervention and will review the current state-of-the-art delivered by interventional KOLs from throughout the UK. There will also be a focussed Q&A on leadership, consultant interviews and avoiding burnout as well as a keynote speaker on GIRFT – what does a high-quality PCI service look like?  Fellows / specialty registrars are expected to present 10-minute PCI case vignettes for 3 interactive / Angio review sessions: complex PCI, MDT conundrums and PCI complications.

Hosted by Royal Papworth Hospital, this Meeting is considered by BCIS as a core component of subspecialty training in Intervention.

BCIS Trainee Members are eligible for complimentary registration and overnight accommodation.
