Event Summary

Building on the success of the 2017 meeting which featured and highlighted innovation, education and intervention in the treatment of thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm disease, the Barts Aortovascular Symposium 2018 will discuss the frontiers of aortovascular disease, aortic research, from genetics and molecular pathophysiology of the aortic wall, through imaging technologies, natural history, monitoring and decision-making to surgical and interventional therapies. The symposium intends to cross-fertilise ideas between basic scientists and clinicians, and consider planning, performance and outcome of interventions and surgery aortovascular disease.

The 2018 meeting will feature an exceptional national and international faculty, in the field, to discuss and share their thoughts with you. In addition, there is an opportunity to share your experience in an abstract session and operative video session.

Accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for up to 5.0 CPD Points.
