Summary

In this presentation, Dr Dan Blackman discusses the alternate access route for Core Valve TAVI.

Trans-femoral remains the access of choice for CoreValve TAVI in 85-90% of cases. Subclavian TAVI is an excellent alternative whilst trans-aortic appears a viable alternative in patients without any suitable vascular access.
