Dear BCIS member,
At the EuroPCR meeting in Barcelona, we met with SCAI officers in order to discuss our respective programmes and goals and strengthen partnership in the future. As you will know, they have, for a number of years, run a very successful fellows course (http://scai-icfc.org), which this year takes place in Las Vegas, December 8th - 12th 2008.
The Officers of BCIS are pleased to announce a competition to attend the course. This is open to all interventional SpRs and fellows (pre-CCST) who are BCIS members and involves submission of an abstract (maximum 1 page A4) summarising the candidate's involvement in interventional research. Please mail the abstract as an attachment to bernard.prendergast@orh.nhs.uk by September 19th 2008. The successful candidate will be announced in early October and will win complimentary attendance at the Fellows Course (including air travel and accommodation).
We welcome applications and would be grateful if non-eligible BCIS members could publicise the competition within their institution.
